This study analyses the sustainability condition of a healthy environment, economic growth and poverty level in relation to the golden age population in Malaysia based on the quantile regression estimates covering the period of 1960 until 2016. Generally, studies on aging population have generated attention globally due to its possible impact on health care, greenhouse gas emissions, globalization, investment for the purpose of research and devel-opment, income inequality and energy consumption.

Business decisions often require economic analysis involving uncertainties. This study brings forward the multi-attribute group decision making (MAGDM) framework based upon Pythagorean fuzzy (PF) sets with self-confidence of decision makers. By incorporating the ideas of the order-inducing variables of the induced ordered weighted averaging (IOWA) operator, we propose two PF confidence aggregation methods, namely PF confidence induced ordered weighted averaging (PFCIOWA) operator and PF confidence induced hybrid weighted averaging (PFCIHWA) operator.
An information system (IS) for analyzing, assessing risks and their impact on the economic activity of agribusiness in Ukraine is developed. The Global Administrative Risk Management System can use this information system or its parts as a component. A new method for designing IS for risk analysis and assessment in the sphere of agriculture is suggested. An original mathematical model of such an IP is used.

Even though Chinese government has been promoting the development of renewable energy, coal-fired thermal electricity generation still accounts for nearly 70% of the total electricity generation, proving to be the largest carbon dioxide (CO2) emitter in China. Uncovering the driving forces of CO2 emissions, thus, is of great significance to provide appropriate mitigation policies for the sustainable development of China's thermal electricity generation. In this regard, this study aims to fill a research gap by applying Index Decomposition Analysis (IDA) approach via the Generalized Divisia Index Model (GDIM) to examine the driving factors behind the CO2 emission changes in China's thermal electricity generation during 2000-2016.
The changes in farm structure have been observed in Lithuania as well as in other Central and Eastern European countries. These changes, to a high extent, have been driven by decreasing profitability of the small farms. In this paper, we look into the changes in the profitability of Lithuanian family farms across different farm size groups. Farm size is measured in terms of the standard output. The period covered is 2005-2016.

External environmental factors play a significant role in the agricultural production of smallholder farmers. This is especially the case in developing countries where production is less technologically intensive. These factors are mainly exogenous and affect both the farmers’ input choices and the final output levels. However, previous studies of technical efficiency of smallholder agricultural production either ignore these factors or assume separability between environmental factors and input choice, which is often not the case in developing counties
The purpose of the article is to develop a model that could be used for estimating the level of the effect of the highlighted determinants on food retail prices. Research methodology - the study is based on the obtained monthly data of food retail prices that covers the period from 2016 I m. to 2018 XII m. (36 observations). Multiple regression modelling is used in order to create a model of foodretail prices.

Recently, the EU policy measures have been widely applied to encourage early retirement from farming. Current age structure of society requires opposite approach. Key challenges for rural development policy aiming to increase quality of life of elder people are dealing not only with traditional help and support measures, but with involvement of elder generation into economic and social life also.
A wide range of climate change mitigation policies have been developed around the world and these policies have become one of the major concerns, however there is still debate among scientists about what are the main external benefits and how to account for them and prepare effective climate change mitigation policies that might be widely accepted by society in general.
