LIRA lab - Living Innovations for Regional Advancement laboratory

Focus on regional ecosystems, AI-based models, stakeholder modeling, commercialization.
The name “LIRA” reflects the dynamic and harmonious sound (instrument - lyre), which represents balance in social and economic transformation.

 

Vision - a leading diagnostic and co-creation space for transferring the value of innovation ecosystem methodologies and tools to various stakeholders.

 

Strategic long-term goal: to become an environment for diagnosing and experimenting with the value of research in economics and related fields - an ecosystem for revealing and/or transferring innovations in economics and management to a targeted circle of stakeholders, based on the principles of collaboration, co-learning, co-development, bandwagoning and sharing.

 

Short-term objectives:

  • Encourage collaboration and co-creation among key stakeholders of the Quadruple Helix of the Living Lab - citizens, government, business and academia;
  • Develop competences of LIRA lab staff, especially PhD students, in the field of economics, management and interdisciplinary innovation creation and management and strengthen innovation ecosystems through their participation in co-creation;
  • Perform diagnostics of the practical applicability of scientific research to achieve the highest socio-economic impact;
  • Improve value creation through diagnostics, modeling and commercialization to achieve a flexible connection between scientific research and practical implementation with high impact on society.

 

LIRA lab is seeking membership in ENoLL – the European Network of Living Labs. The reliability guarantee of Living Labs lies in an organizational model that meets international standards. One of the most widely recognized standards worldwide is the quality standard developed by ENoLL. Laboratories that comply with this standard receive a certification of conformity. Currently, LIRA lab is in the process of ENoLL certification.
