The BASCIL Project Partner Meeting took place in Germany, Rostock from March 3rd to March 5th, 2025, bringing together key stakeholders to discuss the progress and future steps of the project. This meeting is financed from the Baltic Sea Region 2021–2027 programme project BASCIL - Innovative Solutions for the Rural Food Production Sector to Diversify into Sustainable Culinary Tourism Services.
The agenda included an intensive series of project workshops at Ostseemühle Langenhanshagen, where participants reviewed the results of the 2024 summer/autumn piloting phase, refined the first project manual, and strategized its translation and dissemination. Further discussions focused on the next steps for the Work Package 3 transfer activities, including the dissemination of piloting results and upcoming events in Poland and Sweden. The afternoon program featured visits to local enterprises such as Salzmanufaktur MV and Organic Coffee Roasting Manufacturer LandDelikat, where participants gained insights into regional best practices in sustainable production.
The final day of the meeting was dedicated to partner presentations and strategic discussions on marketing activities for the piloting of the second project element, ensuring alignment across pilot regions and networks. A structured template for gathering piloting results was also introduced. The meeting concluded with reflections on the progress made and plans for the upcoming phases of the project before participants departed. This event proved to be an invaluable opportunity for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and strengthening the impact of the BASCIL Project.
