On 12-15 September 2023, researchers from the Institute of Economics and Rural Development of the Lithuanian Center for Social Sciences have participated in the 2nd international training seminar in Zielona Góra (Poland). This seminar is financed from the Baltic Sea Region 2021–2027 programme project BASCIL - Innovative Solutions for the Rural Food Production Sector to Diversify into Sustainable Culinary Tourism Services.
During the seminar the experts from Krinova presented the business model for food producers and the participants of the meeting developed practical ideas how to use the business model document when working with local food companies/pilots in designing or improving culinary tourism services.
During the meeting, the project participants were also introduced to examples of good practice in Lubuskie region. One of them is the annual wine festival where winemakers of the region participate. Participants of the meeting visited Lubuskie Winemaking Center in Zabór. It is local government vineyard where 13 winemakers have been renting 35 ha of land and making wine and being consulted by scientists from University of Zielona Góra.
