Consumer properties of the thermal and electric energy which are the products at energy markets yield interconnections that have significant impact on the laws of energy consumption. When physical or price restrictions of the thermal energy supply are present at the power markets, the shortage of energy can be compensated by an increase in electricity consumption. At the same time, it appears that the interconnection of heat and electricity consumption largely determines the model of ower supply organization.
The solution of the problem of multicriteria alternative choice in the conditions of fuzzy expert assessments of compliance with alternatives to the requirements of criteria is described. We consider the situation when the rating of the alternatives can comprise several experts that form an individual system of criteria for evaluation of alternatives using numerical or linguistic form submissions.
Understanding the nexus CO2 emissions and economic growth helps economies in formulating energy policies and developing energy resources in sustainable ways. Although during recent years, numerous of the previous studies have been very thoroughly investigated the nexus between economic growth and CO2 emissions, there is a lack of research regarding the qualitative systematic review and meta-analysis in these areas.

The benefits of agricultural exports’ impact to developing economies have been confirmed by most of researchers. When analyzing the Baltic States, attention should be paid firstly to the peculiarities of agriculture and to relatively low subsidies of the EU funds in comparison with the old EU countries.
The teahouse market has seen an expansion across various countries. In order to identify the most reasonable paths for development, the choice of location for the outlets needs to account for a number of conflicting criteria. Therefore, the multicriteria approach is required to effectively handle the location selection problem. In this paper, we develop a multicriteria framework for teahouse selection and apply it in the context of Lithuania.

This paper presents a New Social Movement approach to the studies of local food system development. It aims to identify whether local food initiatives coalesce into a movement in Lithuania, drawing on the characteristics derived from the New Social Movement theory. Discourse analysis and semi-structured interviews with representatives of local food organizations and initiatives are applied as main methods of the study.
This paper presents a modified environmental production technology which imposes the proper disposability on the undesirable outputs depending on the underlying technical properties. Then, aggregate and disaggregate (Russell-type) data envelopment analysis (DEA) models are proposed to evaluate the energy-economy-environment (3E) efficiency based on the modified technology (hereafter referred to as the 3E-DEA models).

Due to the construction and operation of China's South-North Water Transfer Project (SNWTP), it is necessary to conduct broader research on the underlying trends and factors of the water-use performance in the SNWTP's cities from the perspective of “resource-economy-environment” system. This paper attempts to identify the optimal paths and measures for improving the water-use performance as measured by the Luenberger productivity indicator and its decomposition.
